"How are gods made, Calixto?” She repeats, like she expects a different answer. Would you like to find out? The question is on the tip of his tongue, waiting for an opportune moment. It would be so easy to ask, to put it out there just to see how she might answer. Astraea is wise but brash, brave but impulsive. Would she take the offer, or sit and consider? Dismiss it as just another jest of his, another joke from a god to a mortal that she does not think she’s privy to? (Would she know how willing he is to make it a reality? Minor god though he is, he would bend the Skies themselves for her, if only she would let him.)

This is my, uhhh, I guess, last entry for the @tmnt-ocxcanon-comp (Wedding). I wanted to continue the prompts, but work really got in the way, because, of course, it did. I may make the other prompts in the future once I get some of that work handled.

Now, for some real talk and musings under the cut, so if you're here for the art, can just enjoy~ Also thanks to @honeylief for helping me figure out the snoot kiss!

Donnie is in a traditional Japanese wedding yukata for men, while Astra is in more a American styled wedding dress, I wanted to mix their attire to match their ethnicities. (Even though Donnie is Japanese/American)

Astra originally also had star clips in her hair, but I forgot them, and maybe it's for the best, it came out okay!

This was my first competition, and admirably, I don't know if I'll be joining anymore or again next year due to how it was… kind of a mess.

I get that the runner was new to this, so mistakes were going to happen.

It was an okay experience overall, despite my own breakdowns from my depression and anxiety (Which I kept largely to myself, that's my baggage) I also have my criticisms, especially with how I was treated regarding concerns, and having them brushed off, only to have that exact topic to come up separately and blow up publicly. That made things hella awkward.

(I'm not upset Tomiko won, we all knew it was gonna happen, and they deserve it! I'm just upset with how it was gone about.)

I do think I met some kind people and left a good impression, but IDK if any of them would want to associate with me. Only time will tell, yeah?~

Maybe if some things are changed around, or idk I'm feeling confident, I'll enter again or go to another contest, for now, my emotions need time to recover, Avoidant personality disorder is a bit of a bitch when it comes to things like this. /lh

7. Calixto doesn't have so many boundaries he enforces for himself, as he's one of those go with the wind fellas I think! The one that he does really keep for himself is personal space, in terms of him and others; he's the youngest of my gods, so he's used to be shrouded and outshined, so he prefers to physically carve out and keep space for himself

9. Few things push him to violence as he's in general a lot more silly and mischievous! In terms of arguments it would probably be if A) the other person started it, but in terms of actual story, B) slights towards Astraea and other mortal characters! He is very defensive of them, and while he doesn't often fight for Astraea (she's more than capable of doing so for herself), the other gods get a bit too high and mighty for him

19. My first thought was banishment, as it's Astraea's current personal hell, but she comes to believe it's always looking back. She spends her story longing for the things she used to have and has to come to terms with the fact she'll never get them back, so she thinks it's an awful, awful fate to have something you want so badly that is just completely out of reach because its in the past. In terms of actual Ends, she still rather desperately fears falling, although from significantly higher heights!

20. Astraea has a really interesting view of death compared to many of my characters :D as she started out mortal, she definitely spent a good amount of time fearing death. Her family died, she spent years thinking she would die, and then all of the sudden she just Can't! she's a god now! death isn't a problem! Once she's a god she has a sort of distant respect for death (she thinks it's unreasonable to fear it still), but originally she was really desperately afraid of it

Guess what - new Horizon OC just dropped!

Though I feel like Astraea is more closely related to my crossover AU than most of my characters, so I'll take the chance to plug my fic which explains her origins here - Artificial (Emotional) Intelligence.

Xe's my most recent character so as you can see xyr playlist is a work in progress, but I'm excited to explore xyr story so hopefully I'll be adding more in the future :D

Freyja Returns!

I'm still in my "trial period" on whether or not I want to keep my girls modded or return to vanilla completely. If anything I may be jumping between either or depending on what kinds of pics I want to take. For example, I still plan on doing a "Level 100 Celebration" shot for every job in their AF armor in vanilla rather than worry about finding upscales and such. Time will tell.
